The Ministry of Railways has launched an experimental Round Trip Package offering a 20% rebate on the base fare of return journeys to manage crowd during the Diwali and Chhath festival seasons. Bookings start on August 14, 2025, for travel between October 13-26, 2025, with return journeys from November 17 to December 1, 2025. The scheme aims to facilitate hassle-free travel and redistribute peak traffic, applicable for confirmed tickets only, with no refunds or modifications allowed.
