Shri Raj Kumar Arora has officially taken over as the Controller General of Defence Accounts on August 1, 2025. A 1990-batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service, he brings extensive experience in financial policy, accounting, audit, budget, procurement, and personnel matters. His previous roles include Additional Secretary in UPSC, Finance Manager (Air) in the Ministry of Defence, and Director in the Ministry of Finance, among others.
