The Department of Atomic Energy has disclosed details regarding the contributions and outcomes of the Raja Ramanna Chair (RRC) Scheme in a recent parliamentary reply. Currently, 50 RRC positions have been sanctioned, with 25 active and 9 completed. Comprehensive research and policy framing activities associated with these positions have resulted in significant scientific advancements and policy documentations. These efforts have been instrumental in advancing nuclear science and technology initiatives within the department.
