Raksha Mantri Inaugurates DPSU Bhawan and Reviews Defence Production

On November 10, 2025, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh inaugurated the DPSU Bhawan in New Delhi and reviewed the performance of Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). He commended the contributions of DPSUs, which accounted for 71.6% of India's defence production worth Rs 1.51 lakh crore and highlighted the importance of indigenisation and R&D. Four DPSUs were awarded Miniratna status, and several MoUs were signed to enhance collaboration and sustainability in defence manufacturing. The event also marked the launch of initiatives aimed at promoting green energy and technological self-sufficiency in the sector.
