Reforms in CPGRAMS: Enhancing Public Grievance Redressal

The Government has implemented a 10-step reform plan for the Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) since April 2022, resulting in the resolution of over 80 lakh grievances and a reduction in redressal timelines from 28 days in 2019 to 16 days in 2025. Comprehensive guidelines issued in August 2024 further streamlined the process, reducing timelines from 30 to 21 days and establishing dedicated grievance cells. As of June 2025, 23 lakh surveys have been completed, and a robust appeal mechanism is in place for unresolved grievances.
