Regulation in Adventure Tourism Sector
The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), has introduced Adventure Safety Guidelines aimed at creating a standardized safety framework for the Adventure Tourism sector in India. These guidelines have been distributed to all States and Union Territories for implementation and updating of safety protocols. Authorities are urged to monitor adventure activities closely and ensure compliance with safety regulations and licensing requirements.
