Return of Sacred Piprahwa Relics to India

The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has announced the historic return of the sacred Piprahwa relics of Lord Buddha, made possible through a partnership with Godrej Industries. Discovered in 1898, these relics are of immense spiritual significance and were saved from an auction in Hong Kong. The repatriation reflects India's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage and aligns with Prime Minister Modi's vision of reclaiming ancient cultural legacies. A public display ceremony is planned to honor these artefacts.
