Review of UMEED Portal and Haj 2025 Operations in Maharashtra

The UMEED Portal, launched on June 6, 2025, mandates the upload of all registered waqf properties within six months. Dr. Kumar encouraged state officials to streamline the implementation process and assessed the status of projects under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK). He also praised the successful conduct of Haj 2025, noting the lowest number of health-related incidents among pilgrims, attributing this to improved coordination and the effectiveness of the Haj Suvidha App. The Ministry remains committed to enhancing waqf property management and ensuring a dignified pilgrimage experience.
