Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025 Catalyzes Growth and Development in the North Eastern Region

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) organized the 'Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025' to attract investments in various sectors of the region. The summit resulted in investment interests worth ₹ 4.48 lakh crore through MoUs and letters of intent. Key focus sectors included tourism, agro-food processing, textiles, healthcare, and more. Alongside, initiatives were launched to support MSMEs and entrepreneurs, including credit guarantee schemes, strategic roadshows, and venture funding through NEDFi. The Department of Posts is also facilitating financial inclusion in the region via India Post Payments Bank services.
