Role of Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership
The Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP), established by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), focuses on capacity building and international collaboration in nuclear energy. It engages with 17 international agencies, including the IAEA, to promote safe and sustainable nuclear energy through various programs aimed at human resource development. Since 2017, GCNEP has conducted over 100 international and national programs, as reported by Dr. Jitendra Singh in the Rajya Sabha.
