RPF Detects Over 4,300 Drug Trafficking Cases in 3 Years
The Railway Protection Force (RPF), leveraging enhanced monitoring methods, detected 4,328 drug trafficking cases on Indian railways over a three-year period. Empowered by the NDPS Act, 1985, RPF has actively contributed to drug enforcement by conducting coordinated efforts with other agencies, utilizing CCTV surveillance, and implementing public awareness campaigns.
