Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has provided the special grade steel for the INS Androth, commissioned to the Indian Navy on October 6, 2025. This marks a significant step in India's naval modernization, with SAIL supplying steel for the entire series of Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC) being built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd.
