SAMPANN Pension Portal Integrates with DigiLocker

The SAMPANN pension portal, developed by the Office of the Controller General of Communication Accounts, has been successfully integrated with the DigiLocker platform, enhancing access to pension-related digital documents such as e-Pension Payment Orders (e-PPOs) and Gratuity Sanction Orders for pensioners. This initiative, aimed at facilitating paperless and secure access to essential pension documents, aligns with the Indian government’s Digital India programme to enhance digital governance and self-reliance among pensioners. Through this integration, pensioners can easily access their documents anywhere from their DigiLocker accounts, supporting services like banking and medical reimbursements, while saving time and resources by eliminating the need for physical paperwork.
