Sanchar Mitra Scheme Empowers Youth for Digital and Telecom Awareness
The Sanchar Mitra Scheme, launched by India's Ministry of Communications, aims to involve young students in promoting digital empowerment and telecom awareness across communities. Under this initiative, students from technical institutes participate as Sanchar Mitras to educate the public about important telecom issues, including citizen-centric services, telecom fraud prevention, and mobile security. Over 222 institutions nationwide are currently part of this scheme, emphasizing responsible telecom use and digital safety. The scheme's details were presented by Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar in the Lok Sabha.
