Sanchar Saathi Initiative Strengthens Action Against Telecom Cyber Frauds
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia chaired a stakeholders meeting to enhance efforts against telecom cyber frauds under the Sanchar Saathi initiative. The initiative has successfully disconnected over 82 lakh fake mobile connections and blocked more than 35 lakh lost or stolen phones. The Sanchar Saathi mobile app, launched in Hindi and 21 regional languages, empowers citizens to report suspicious activities and has seen over 46 lakh downloads. The initiative aims to create a collaborative network to combat telecom fraud and enhance digital safety in India.
