Scholarships for Tribal Empowerment

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is implementing various scholarship schemes to enhance education among Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. These include Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships, National Fellowship, National Scholarship for Higher Education, and National Overseas Scholarship. For FY 2024-25, Rs. 163.69 Crore has been allocated for Pre-Matric and Rs. 2598.34 Crore for Post-Matric scholarships.
