Silkworm Rearing Sheds Under Silk Samagra-2 Scheme
The Ministry of Textiles has reported that 36,404 silkworm rearing sheds have been sanctioned, with 28,570 constructed under the Silk Samagra-2 scheme. The scheme aims to provide central assistance for the construction of rearing houses across various states and union territories. A review of subsidy norms is currently underway following representations from state governments.
