Skill Development Centre to be Established at AURIC

A 20,000 sq. ft. Skill Development Centre will be set up at Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) expected next week. The initiative aims to enhance the region's industrial ecosystem and attract Global Capability Centre investments. Key recommendations from industry stakeholders include improved connectivity, increased MSME land reservation, and affordable housing initiatives. The Secretary of DPIIT emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and industry to position Maharashtra as a global manufacturing hub.
