Skill Development Ministry Proposes ITI Upgradation and NCoE Establishment

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is spearheading an initiative under the PM SETU scheme to upgrade Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and establish National Centres of Excellence (NCoEs). This endeavor will be facilitated through industry-led Special Purpose Vehicles, with a requirement for Strategic Investment Plans from interested industry partners. Twelve States/UTs have so far initiated the process of inviting industry participation.
