SPARSH Enhances Defence Pension Administration

The System for Pension Administration – Raksha (SPARSH) has successfully resolved 87% of legacy discrepancies in defence pensions, significantly improving grievance redressal times from 56 days to 20 days. Currently, 31.54 lakh defence pensioners are onboarded on SPARSH, which has also conducted over 100 outreach events and disbursed ₹1,57,681 crore in the 2024-25 Defence Pension Budget. SPARSH is recognized as the world's largest pension system for defence personnel, promoting transparency and efficiency in pension administration.
