Special Academic Support Initiatives for Tribal Students

The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has launched various initiatives through the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) to enhance digital literacy and vocational skills among students in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS). Key initiatives include the establishment of Centers of Excellence for IIT-JEE and NEET preparation, digital tutoring, smart classrooms, skill development labs, and the Tribal Aptitude Life Skill and Self Esteem Hub (TALASH) for career guidance. These efforts aim to prepare tribal students for future employment and higher education opportunities.
