Special Intensive Revision Phase II Concludes with High Digitisation Rates

The Election Commission of India has concluded the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Phase II that ran from November 4 to December 11, 2025. During this phase, Enumeration Forms (EF) specific to electors were distributed and digitised across various States and Union Territories (UTs). The report shows substantial progress with 99.9% of forms distributed and 99.78% digitised, targeting over 509 million electors. Notable achievements include complete digitisation in regions like Andaman & Nicobar, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, the report detailed deferment of the revision process in Rajasthan's 193-Anta constituency due to bye-elections.
