Standards for Quantum-Secure Technologies Unveiled at International Conclave
During the 3rd International Quantum Communication Conclave on April 25, 2025, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) released new standards for quantum-secure technologies in India. These include standards for Quantum Random Number Generators, Post Quantum Cryptography, and Quantum Key Distribution Systems. The initiative aims to standardize and promote the adoption of quantum-secure products, fostering collaboration among academia, industry, and government through the formation of a National Working Group on Quantum Technology.
