Status and Expansion of Tribal Cultural Centres in India

The Government of India has established seven Zonal Cultural Centres (ZCCs) across the country to protect and promote tribal culture and folk art. These centres engage tribal artists, organize cultural activities, and work to preserve endangered tribal languages and crafts. They provide infrastructure for artists, conduct workshops, and support tribal researchers and young artists through fellowships and grants.
