The Ministry of Civil Aviation has released a status report on the recovery and examination of black boxes from Air India Flight AI-171, which crashed on June 13, 2025. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) initiated an investigation and formed a multidisciplinary team, including representatives from the NTSB. Both Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVR) and Flight Data Recorders (FDR) were recovered and secured.
