Strengthening Local Innovations for Livelihoods: SUNIL Programme Update

The Department of Science and Technology (DST) is implementing the SUNIL programme to enhance local innovations for livelihoods. Recently, 40 proposals were received from Andhra Pradesh, and various Knowledge Institutions and NGOs have been supported over the past five years. A total of Rs. 610.84 Lakhs has been disbursed, with positive feedback indicating improved livelihoods and skill enhancement in the targeted areas. The programme focuses on capacity building, income diversification, and sustainable rural enterprises.
