Successful Conduct of Trade Marks and Patent Agent Examinations 2026

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry conducted the Trade Marks Agent Examination (TAE) and Patent Agent Examination (PAE) 2026 across 13 cities in India. The TAE saw 819 candidates registering, with 388 appearing for Paper I and 362 for Paper II. Similarly, the PAE had 5,535 registrations, with 2,402 candidates appearing for Paper I and 2,315 for Paper II. These examinations test candidates on their knowledge of relevant Acts and Rules. Successful candidates will join the Registers for Patent and Trade Marks Agents, essential roles in managing intellectual property rights.
