Successful Trial of Akash Prime at High Altitude

On July 16, 2025, India successfully tested the Akash Prime missile system, destroying two unmanned aerial targets at high altitude in Ladakh. This upgraded variant of the Akash Weapon System is designed for operations above 4,500 meters and features a new Radio Frequency seeker.
