User trials of the Extended Range Anti-Submarine Rocket (ERASR) were successfully conducted from INS Kavaratti between June 23 and July 07, 2025. Developed by DRDO in collaboration with various laboratories, the ERASR is designed for indigenous rocket launchers on Indian Naval Ships. The trials demonstrated successful performance across multiple objectives, including range and warhead functionality. The Indian Navy is expected to induct the system soon, enhancing its operational capabilities.
