Support for Bharat International Rice Conference 2025

The Government of India is providing non-financial support for the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025, scheduled for October 30-31, 2025, in New Delhi. Organized by the Indian Rice Exporters’ Federation (IREF), the event aims to promote rice exports, with participation from various rice exporter associations. The IREF will cover all logistical expenses, while the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will facilitate coordination among relevant ministries. The Department of Commerce clarified its non-involvement in IREF's internal matters.
