Support for Medicinal Plant Cultivation in Tribal Districts

The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) under the Ministry of Ayush is implementing a scheme to support the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, particularly in tribal districts. The initiative includes project-based support for infrastructure, education, post-harvest management, and quality testing. In the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25, assistance was provided to over 2000 farmers across various states, promoting local employment and economic growth.
