The Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India, is observing the 9th edition of Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 from September 17 to October 2, 2025. The campaign, themed 'Swachhotsav', focuses on five key pillars: transforming cleanliness target units, ensuring clean public spaces, supporting sanitation workers, promoting eco-friendly festivities, and advocating for cleanliness initiatives. Additionally, the Special Campaign 5.0 aims to institutionalize cleanliness in government offices from October 2 to October 31, 2025. The campaign will culminate on October 2, 2025, with nationwide cleanliness activities honoring Mahatma Gandhi's legacy.
