The 'Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025' campaign was launched by Union Minister Manohar Lal at the Bhalswa dumpsite in Delhi, marking a significant step towards its remediation. The initiative aims to transform the 70-acre landfill into a cleaner urban space, with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and Delhi Development Authority collaborating on the project. As part of the campaign, ₹5,000 will be provided to workers involved in the cleanup, and health check-ups will be conducted for their well-being.
