On September 25, 2025, the Ministry of Textiles launched a nationwide cleaning initiative as part of the Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS) campaign. Activities included Shramdaan events organized by the Jute Corporation of India Limited (JCI) and Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. (CCIC), focusing on public awareness, health checkups, and waste management. The Central Silk Board also contributed with a 'Waste to Art' event, promoting sustainability through creative reuse of materials.
