Launch of Cost-Effective Carbon Fibre Foot Prosthesis in India
The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) and AIIMS Bibinagar have unveiled the first Make-in-India advanced Carbon Fibre Foot Prosthesis, named ADIDOC, designed to be cost-effective and accessible for amputees. This prosthesis, tested for loads up to 125 kgs, aims to reduce production costs to under Rs 20,000, significantly
