Preparation for Upcoming Census Reviewed by Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed preparations for the upcoming Census in New Delhi, with the official notification set to be published on June 16, 2025. The Census will occur in two phases: Houselisting Operation (HLO) and Population Enumeration (PE), involving around 34 lakh enumerators and 1.3 lakh functionaries.
