Urgent Ocean Study Launched Following Hazardous Cargo Spill Off Kochi
The Centre for Marine Living Resources and Ecology (CMLRE) is conducting an oceanographic research cruise in response to the sinking of a cargo vessel carrying hazardous materials. The study aims to assess the ecological and biogeochemical impacts in the southeastern Arabian Sea, focusing on the wreck site and surrounding waters.
