Increase in R&D Expenditure to GDP

The Indian government has not set a specific target to raise Research and Development (R&D) expenditure to 1.5% of GDP by 2029, but the Gross expenditure on R&D (GERD) has more than doubled from Rs. 60,196.75 crore in 2010-11 to Rs. 127,380.
