Objectives of SHRESHTA Scheme

The SHRESHTA Scheme aims to provide financial assistance to NGOs for educational projects benefiting Scheduled Castes (SC) students. It includes residential and non-residential schools and hostels for primary and secondary education. Revised in 2021-22, it now features a component for meritorious SC students to access quality education in top residential
