India Aims for Indigenous Solar Manufacturing by 2028
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi announced India's goal to establish a complete Swadeshi solar value chain by 2028, focusing on indigenous solar cell manufacturing, wafers, and ingots. The country has surpassed 251.5 GW of non-fossil capacity, achieving over half of its 2030 target of 500 GW. Key initiatives
