Telecom Subscription Data Highlights as of June 2025
As of June 30, 2025, India has a total of 1218.36 million telephone subscribers, with 1170.88 million being wireless and 47.49 million wireline. The broadband subscriber base reached 979.71 million, showing a monthly growth rate of 0.50%. Urban tele-density is at 133.56%, while rural tele-density is at 59.43%. The month saw 13.58 million requests for Mobile Number Portability (MNP).
