Tourism Figures in India for 2024 Revealed

The Ministry of Tourism has released data for tourism in 2024, revealing that India saw 99.52 lakh Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) and 2,94,81.91 lakh Domestic Tourist Visits (DTVs). Foreign Exchange Earnings from tourism were Rs 2,93,033 crore. The USA, Bangladesh, UK, Australia, and Canada were the top source countries for tourists. Additionally, 31.74 lakh e-visas were issued between November 2024 and November 2025. The report was shared by the Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, in a written reply in Rajya Sabha.
