TRAI Assesses Mobile Network Quality in Madhya Pradesh

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted Independent Drive Tests (IDT) in June 2025 to evaluate the mobile network performance of operators in Dewas and Ujjain cities, as well as on highways and rail routes in Madhya Pradesh. The tests covered 352.2 km in cities and 291.9 km on highways, assessing key performance indicators for voice and data services across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. The findings revealed varying performance levels among telecom operators, with Airtel and RJIL showing superior metrics in call setup success rates and data speeds.
