TRAI Assesses Mobile Network Quality in Meerut
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Meerut, assessing mobile network performance across various technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) from June 2-4, 2025. The tests covered 216.2 km in the city and 64.9 km on highways, evaluating key parameters such as Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), Drop Call Rate (DCR), and data speeds. Results showed varying performance among operators, with RJIL achieving a 100% CSSR and peak 5G download speeds of 283.25 Mbps in hotspots. The findings have been shared with telecom service providers for further action.
