TRAI Assesses Mobile Network Quality in Uttar Pradesh
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted Independent Drive Tests (IDT) in Mirzapur, Chandauli, and Mughalsarai, Uttar Pradesh, from June 30 to July 4, 2025. The tests covered 282.5 km of city routes and 5 km of walk tests, assessing mobile network performance across various technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G). Key performance indicators for voice and data services were evaluated, including call setup success rate, drop call rate, data throughput, and latency. The findings will guide telecom service providers in improving network quality.
