TRAI Assesses Mobile Network Quality in Uttar Pradesh

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted Independent Drive Tests (IDT) in August 2025 to evaluate mobile network performance in Kanpur, Unnao, and along the Prayagraj to Lucknow Highway. The tests covered various technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and assessed key parameters such as Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR) and Drop Call Rate (DCR). Findings revealed high CSSR rates for major operators, with RJIL achieving a perfect 100%. The results have been shared with telecom service providers for necessary actions.
