TRAI Assesses Mobile Network Quality on Bolpur Shantiniketan to New Jalpaiguri Railway Route
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) along the railway route from Bolpur Shantiniketan to New Jalpaiguri in July 2025, assessing mobile network performance. Key findings include call setup success rates and drop call rates for major telecom providers, as well as data service speeds. Airtel achieved the highest call setup success rate at 100%, while RJIL led in data download speeds at 121.47 Mbps. The assessment covered various stations and utilized multiple mobile technologies.
