TRAI Assesses Network Quality Across Delhi City

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in July 2025 to evaluate mobile network performance in Delhi. The tests covered 858.9 km, assessing voice and data services across various technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G). Key findings include call setup success rates, drop call rates, and data speeds for major telecom operators. Airtel showed the highest call setup success rate at 99.40%, while MTNL lagged significantly. Data performance varied widely, with Airtel achieving an average download speed of 173.73 Mbps, compared to MTNL's 1.56 Mbps.
