TRAI Assesses Network Quality in Goa (South)
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Goa (South) to evaluate mobile network performance across various environments. The tests, carried out from July 22 to July 25, 2025, covered 261.8 km of city routes, coastal areas, and hotspots, assessing technologies from 2G to 5G. Key performance indicators included Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), Drop Call Rate (DCR), and data speeds. Results showed varying performance among service providers, with RJIL leading in both call success and data speeds.
