TRAI Assesses Network Quality in Hubballi
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) conducted an Independent Drive Test (IDT) in Hubballi, Karnataka, assessing mobile network performance across various environments. The tests, carried out from August 5 to 8, 2025, covered 249.5 km of city routes and 261 km of highways, evaluating 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. Key performance metrics included Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), Drop Call Rate (DCR), and data speeds. Results showed varying performance among service providers, with RJIL leading in both call success and data speeds.
